Jeffrey Epstein died an inglorious death August 10, 2019. What we read everywhere in the news is Jeffrey Epstein. I for one am tired of it. Evidently the fabric of his life was so monstrous we cannot let it go. Maybe there is no cure for it. Sin is so devilishly sinful. But then, our seers today want to write our story as being profoundly inglorious. Well, my outlook takes its frame from the gospel and the prophet writers, saying though your sins be as scarlet, they can be white as snow. I've been saying this for a long time, "Less is more and more is less." It's the simple things in life that bring joy. We need to slow down and learn to enjoy them. Of late, I am alone at age 82. Very little in my days of importance. Two meals. Breakfast or brunch and dinner. How do you cook spaghetti with shrimp in alfredo sauce from a jar? I don't know. I have to figure it out. How again do I make that black beans and rice dinner with the pressure cooker, onion, green pepper, minced garlic, white wine and olive oil; to make maybe five dinners with a pound of black beans?
